Why Ceramic Coating Makes Sense in Central Florida
Ocala paint takes a beating: year-round UV, afternoon storms that leave hard-water spots, spring pollen, and two lovebug seasons that etch clear coat within days. Wax and spray sealants wear off in weeks under that load. A ceramic coating bonds to the clear coat and forms a hard, slick, hydrophobic layer that lasts years, not weeks.
- UV protection that slows fading and oxidation on paint and trim
- Hydrophobic finish — rain beads and sheets off, taking dirt with it
- Easier lovebug and pollen removal — contaminants release with a rinse instead of scrubbing
- Deeper gloss that stays between washes
- Protection for glass, wheels and trim, not just paint
Our Mobile Ceramic Coating Process
- Inspection. We walk the vehicle with you, check paint depth and condition, and agree on the finish you want.
- Wash and decontamination. Foam pre-soak, two-bucket hand wash, iron fallout remover and a clay bar treatment to pull bonded contaminants out of the clear coat.
- Paint correction. Machine polishing removes swirls, water spots and light scratches. Coatings lock in whatever is underneath, so this step matters most. Learn about paint correction.
- Panel prep. An IPA wipe-down strips polishing oils so the coating bonds directly to clean clear coat.
- Coating application. Applied panel by panel, leveled and inspected under lights. Glass, wheels and trim can be added.
- Cure and walkthrough. We review the finish with you and explain aftercare before we leave.
Ceramic Coating Options and Pricing
Every ceramic coating is quoted after a quick inspection, because price depends on vehicle size, paint condition and how much correction the paint needs before it’s sealed.
| Option | Best for | Prep included |
|---|---|---|
| Entry coating | Newer vehicles in good condition | Decontamination + one-step polish |
| Premium coating | Daily drivers with swirls and water spots | Decontamination + one-step correction |

Coatings for Cars, Trucks, RVs and Golf Carts
Because we come to you, we coat vehicles that never fit in a shop bay: motorhomes, fifth wheels and travel trailers, fleet vehicles, golf carts and horse trailers. RV gelcoat and painted fiberglass benefit most — a coating slows the chalky oxidation Florida sun causes.
We serve Ocala and surrounding communities, including The Villages, Golden Ocala, Bellechase, Silver Springs Shores, On Top of the World, Reddick and Lake Weir.
Ceramic Coating FAQs
How long does a ceramic coating last in Florida?
Professional coatings typically last from one to several years depending on the product tier, how the vehicle is stored and how it is washed. Garage-kept vehicles washed with pH-neutral soap get the most life out of a coating.
Can you apply ceramic coating at my house?
Yes. We bring water, power and lighting. A garage, carport or shaded driveway is ideal so panels stay cool and dry during application and the initial cure.
Do I need paint correction before a coating?
Almost always. A coating seals in whatever is on the paint, including swirls and water spots. At minimum we decontaminate and polish; heavier defects need multi-step correction.
How do I wash a coated vehicle?
Hand wash with a pH-neutral soap, avoid automatic brush washes, and rinse lovebugs and bird droppings off within a day or two. A maintenance detail or membership keeps the coating performing.
