General Questions

What is mobile detailing?

Mobile detailing means we come to you — your home, office, ranch, or business lot — fully equipped with water, power, and professional tools. You get the same results as a high-end shop without ever leaving your driveway.

Where do you provide service?

We serve the greater Ocala area, including The Villages, On Top of the World, Jumbolair, Silver Springs Shores, Marion Oaks, Belleview, Reddick, and surrounding Marion County communities.

Do I need to provide water or electricity?

No. Our mobile detailing units are completely self-contained. We bring our own water supply, generator power, and professional-grade products to every appointment.

How do I schedule a service?

You can book directly online on our Schedule Now page, or call us at {{location.phone}} to choose your preferred date and time.

What services are included in a standard professional detail?

A standard detail from Ocala Detailing includes a meticulous hand wash using spot-free water, clay bar decontamination, and a high-grade sealant. The interior service covers deep vacuuming, steam cleaning of carpets and upholstery, leather conditioning, and a thorough sanitation of all surfaces to ensure a “showroom-new” look and feel.

Is Ocala Detailing a mobile service or a physical shop?

We are a premium mobile service that brings the detail shop to your doorstep in Ocala and Marion County. Our units are fully self-contained with their own power and 5-stage filtered water, allowing us to perform high-end detailing at your home, office, or storage facility without needing your utilities.

Pricing and Packages

How much does detailing cost?

Pricing depends on the vehicle size, condition, and package selected. Car and truck details start at $79 for exterior-only services, while full packages range higher based on the level of protection and restoration required.

RV pricing starts at $15 per foot.
For larger or custom projects, request a quote through our Book a Quote page.

What’s the difference between your packages?
  • Exterior Only: Focused on exterior wash and shine.
  • Silver: Adds interior vacuuming and light cleaning.
  • Gold: Includes deeper cleaning, UV protection, and tire conditioning.

Platinum: Full interior and exterior restoration with paint correction and ceramic protection.

Do you offer memberships or recurring maintenance plans?

Yes. We offer discounted recurring maintenance plans for clients who want to keep their vehicles looking perfect year-round. Ask our team about monthly or quarterly options.

How is the cost of RV and motorhome detailing calculated?

RV and motorhome detailing is typically priced by the linear foot. Standard wash and wax packages start at a lower rate, while restorative services—such as 2-stage machine polishing for heavy oxidation—carry a higher per-foot cost due to the labor and specialized compounds required to restore the gel coat.

Does Ocala Detailing offer maintenance packages for fleets?

Yes, we offer customizable maintenance packages for commercial fleets, horse trailers, and semi-trucks. These recurring schedules are designed to protect your professional image and asset value. Regular maintenance customers in Marion County often receive priority scheduling and volume-based discounts tailored to their specific fleet size.

Before and During Service

What should I do to prepare for my appointment?
Please ensure we have access to your vehicle and enough space to work safely. Remove personal items and valuables from inside the car, truck, or RV before we arrive.
Do I need to be home during the appointment?
You don’t have to be present the entire time. As long as we have access to the vehicle and payment method, we can complete your service and send before-and-after photos for approval.
How long does a typical detail take?
Most car and truck details take between 2 and 4 hours. Larger vehicles like RVs, trailers, or boats may take half a day or longer depending on the size and condition.
How should I prepare my vehicle for a mobile detailing appointment?

To ensure the best results, please remove all personal items and trash from the interior, including the glove box and center console. If possible, park the vehicle in a shaded area with enough space for our technicians to fully open all doors and maneuver equipment safely around the exterior.

Do I need to be present while my vehicle is being detailed?

You do not need to be present for the entire duration of the service. As long as we have access to the vehicle and a clear understanding of the service requested, our team can perform the detail independently. We will simply contact you for a final walkthrough and payment upon completion.

After Your Detail

How long will the results last?
It depends on driving conditions and how the vehicle is maintained. With regular washing and protection, your detail can last several months. Ceramic coatings and premium sealants can extend that to years with proper care.
How do I maintain my vehicle after detailing?
Avoid automatic car washes, use pH-neutral soaps, and hand dry your vehicle when possible. We can also recommend at-home maintenance products that match your finish.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. Every service comes with our satisfaction guarantee. If you’re not completely thrilled with the results, let us know and we’ll make it right.
How can I maintain my ceramic coating after it is applied?

To maximize the life of your ceramic coating, avoid automatic “brush” car washes. We recommend a touchless hand wash every two weeks using pH-neutral soap. Ocala Detailing also offers “Ceramic Maintenance” washes where we use specialized boosters to rejuvenate the coating’s hydrophobic properties and deep gloss.

What should I do if it rains shortly after my detail is finished?

If we have applied a traditional wax or sealant, a light rain will not harm the finish. However, if a ceramic coating was just applied, it requires a “cure time” (usually 12–24 hours) during which it should stay dry. We monitor local Ocala weather closely to ensure coatings are applied under optimal conditions.

Special Services

Do you offer ceramic coating?

Yes. We provide professional ceramic coating applications that protect your paint, glass, and trim from UV damage, water spots, and contaminants.

Do you do paint correction?

Absolutely. Our multi-stage paint correction removes swirl marks, light scratches, and oxidation, restoring depth and clarity to your finish.

Do you detail boats and trailers?

Not for now but soon.

Can you handle fleets?

Yes. We work with local businesses to maintain professional fleet appearances year-round. Multi-vehicle discounts and flexible scheduling are available.

Can Ocala Detailing remove heavy oxidation from fiberglass RVs?

Yes, we specialize in gel-coat restoration for oxidized RVs and boats. Using high-speed machine polishers and heavy-duty cutting compounds, we strip away the chalky, faded layer to reveal the original shine. This specialized process is essential for vehicles that have spent significant time in the intense Florida sun.

What are the benefits of professional engine bay detailing?

Engine detailing involves a safe degreasing and steam-cleaning process that removes oil, dirt, and road salt. This not only makes your engine look new but also allows for easier leak detection and improved heat dissipation. We finish the service by dressing plastic and rubber components with a UV-protectant to prevent cracking.

Payments and Policies

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards, debit cards, cash, and digital payments. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.
Do you require deposits?
For larger or specialty jobs like RV, fleet, or ceramic coating services, we may require a small deposit to secure your appointment.
What is your cancellation policy?
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules so we can accommodate other clients.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

We require at least 24 to 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid a fee. Because we reserve a specific time slot for your mobile service in Marion County, late cancellations prevent other clients from booking. In cases of extreme weather, we will contact you to reschedule without penalty.

What forms of payment does Ocala Detailing accept?

For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and digital payment platforms (such as Zelle or Venmo), as well as cash. Payment is due in full upon the completion of the service and after your final inspection to ensure 100% satisfaction with our work.
